In 1926, Conneaut Township's forefathers had the amazing foresight and vision to create a park on the beautiful shores of Lake Erie in Conneaut, Ohio.

This 60-acre park boasts numerous outdoor activities as well as a large beach set below natural bluffs that provide the most spectacular sunset views in Northeast Ohio!

~Park gates open daily 7am & close promptly at dusk.

~Lighthouse Cruisers begins this Thursday, May 18, and will be temporarily held at the upper pavilion.
~The Grove street entrance will be closed to the public while contruction continues on both the concession stand and bridge.

There is plenty to do at Conneaut Township Park...

The Beach

Extending west from Conneaut Harbor's picturesque lighthouse and sand bar is Conneaut Township Park's quarter mile long beach. It features a mix of soft sand and stones perfect for walking, sunning and beach glass! A series of wooden and newly installed trex boardwalks connect the pavilions and parking areas to the beach and span the entire length of the park's beautiful Lake Erie shore.

Projects & Improvements


Phase 2 of a 5 phase boardwalk project was completed in the spring of 2022. Phase 3 is currently in the grant application process.

2023 will bring updated functionality with the construction of a new concession stand and bathrooms.
